The Making of E-wallpaper

Final Result of my wallpaper.









Below are the progresses on designing my E-wallpaper for assignment 1


Step1


I open a picture file which I want to make it as my background picture for my E-Wallpaper. I go to the button file > open the picture that I created just now. The next step is i adjust the background color, Image > adjustment > levels and color balance.  After that I go to the button image > image size to edit the document size to A4 size which is width 20.99 centimeters, height 29.7centimeters.

I copy the MMU logo , and paste it inside the main poster. I edit the logo shape, edit > transform >skew , after i copy the picture. I then adjusted the size using edit > image size.

Step 3

I add in the FOM building and do a label for display the fom website address and the TM University logo. Before that, i use Quick Selection Tool to crop the building. After that i use rectangular Marquee Tool to make a label and color it > Paint Bucket Tool and using Horizontal type Tool write down the fom website address. At last, i copy the TM University logo ans paste into the label.

Step 4


I put in the graduation picture to make the poster more attract. Before that, i use Quick Selection Tool to crop out the picture i want and paste it to my wallpaper. After that i edit the picture's Opacity to 91%, to make it a bit transparent. Beside that, i edit the fom building, i use Rectangle Tool to make a rectangle which is same size with the building and edit the Effects > Bevel & Emboss.

I put in the courses into the wallpaper and set the font to Segoe Script.

Step 6


I add in the 'Openday' , '1st August 2012' and '9am-5pm'. I using the horizontal type tool > Wrap Text to make the word be more shape. After that, i go to Style choose Double Ring Glow (Button) make the word more vivid.

Last step


In the last step I crop the MMU mascot using Quick Selection Tool crop the thing that i want. After that i edit the shape, edit > transform > Distort and my wallpaper is done.
